What is the John 3:16 Project?
There are roughly 7,000 languages spoken by people groups around the world. Of these, only about 359 of these languages are truly global.
The John 3:16 Project seeks to record what is by far the most quoted Bible verse in all 7,000 spoken languages as an audio heirloom for future generations.
In decades to come, some of the languages in use today will cease to exist, so this project will preserve the sound of those languages.
Moreover, the John 3:16 Project seeks to save this verse in audio form so that, one day if there is no longer a clear Gospel witness, at least the message of John 3:16 will carry on in a very hurting world that will desperately need to hear its message of hope and love.
